Nyxus is a fictional, narrative-driven social platform using game-like systems such as ranks, Sparks, and story elements.

All lore, titles, and system messages are fictional and have no real-world meaning or value.

User accounts

You are responsible for maintaining your account security.

You must provide accurate registration information.

You may not use Nyxus for unlawful, abusive, or malicious purposes.

User content

You retain ownership of content you post.

By posting content, you grant Nyxus a non-exclusive license to display, store, and distribute it for platform operation.

You agree not to post illegal content, harassment, hate speech, spam, or exploitative material.

Nyxus may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these rules.

Virtual systems

Nyxus uses virtual resources such as Sparks, ranks, or runes.

These have no real-world monetary value, are non-transferable, and may be modified, reset, or removed at any time.

Comments and interactions

When users leave comments or interact with content on Nyxus, we collect the data shown in the interaction forms, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection and platform security.

After approval, your profile image may be visible publicly in the context of your interaction.

Media

If you upload images or media to Nyxus, avoid uploading files with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors may be able to extract such data from publicly visible media.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for convenience. These cookies last for one year.

A temporary cookie is set on the login page to check browser compatibility and is discarded when the browser is closed.
