In Nyxus, identity is not given — it is revealed.
All who arrive begin as the Nameless. They are the silent observers, those without Sparks, those whose presence leaves no visible trace. The Nameless watch without interference, untouched by noise, shielded by distorted fonts and muted influence. They are not lesser — they are protected, hidden, waiting.
To earn a Spark is to be named.
Librarians are those who have crossed the threshold into participation. With Sparks in hand, they can speak, shape, support, and sustain the worlds within the Archives. Librarians keep the lights burning — not through dominance, but through contribution.
Yet the boundary is not permanent. Librarians may choose silence. Gate Lords may force silence at great personal cost. And the Nameless, through quiet loopholes in the system, still influence the world in ways unseen.
Nyxus does not punish passivity, nor glorify noise. It honors choice.
